Cush for my Tush!
I've had my bike for over a year and am still riding the stock seat. I know, it's crazy. The Nightster comes with one of the most uncomfortable seats I've experienced, next to a pillion. I'm checking all the aftermarket sites for a cushy solo, but have yet to find a good one. I heard Corbins are very good but haven't seen one for a Sportster.
Any suggestions for a 2007 Nightster?
Thanks in advance!

Sorry, On my Sporty, I have a Harley Seat, but it is not stock. It's even thinner than stock to give a lower profile look. It may as well be a piece of hard leather with no cushion. The litt I have may as well not be there. I'v sacrificed comfort for looks. Sounds like you are going in the right direction though. I'd start with checking the Harley Dealer. The have lots of options, and may be cheaper than a Corbin.

Harley's upgrade for the Sporty is, I believe, the Sundowner Seat. I ride with a girl who has one on her Dyna Low that she says she loves.
I put a Mustang One-Piece Wide Studded Touring Seat on my 1200 Custom. I like it very much. It's comfortable and really looks good on the bike. Here is a link:

It was about $400.
I hear the Corbin is a great seat also, but I don't know anyone who rides one. Here's a link:

Like the Mustang, they aren't cheap, but I think the comfort you get over many miles is worth spending some money on.
Let us know what you end up with.

Harley's seats are notoriously uncomfortable. I don't know if they do that on purpose to get you to buy one of their aftermarket seats or not. The seat was one of the first things I replaced when I got my bike.
I, like Joker, bought the Mustang Wide Seat and have been extremely happy with it. Mustang makes a huge line of seats for all bikes in several different styles. You can easily look at them and order through J&P Cycles. www.jpcycles.com
Corbin is the other manufacturer I would recommend. I don't have any personal experience on a Corbin but I know that they are a favorite among a lot of bikers.
They are priced similarly and will run you about the same as a Harley aftermarket seat.

Thanks guys. I've been looking at the Mustangs and am pretty pleased with what I see online. I'll cruise around this weekend and see what I can find as well.
Monetta sent me a link www.denniskirk.com that I wanted to share. They have some pretty good deals on leathers, parts, etc. if anyone is interested or has never heard of them.
I love shopping for my bike!
